CHARLES PATTON | THE INFECTION
A quiet, emotional wreck, there is little Charles cares about anymore. He relies on the help of his apprentice to function socially whenever he isn't completely immersed in his duties to the Horseman. Virtually ignored and avoided by Pestilence on many occasions, and confided in at others, the schedule-keeper who informs him about the world population and disease research is often made to be sick or act like a servant. Something in Charles' mind has either broken or simply gained scar tissue, allowing him to withstand all the grueling ailments -- even welcome them at times. There is no hate harbored for his deity.
